Family Honor

This is a picture of my character, Lia Silversword (dnd3.5), but that's not what this drawing is about.

I drew this to help me heal. My father, at the age of 58, died on Thursday March 24th after a long and painful battle with congestive heart failure among other issues. I love my father, always have and always will. He taught me to be strong, independent, curious, and most importantly he taught me to love unconditionally.

Also, he was a DnDer himself in his youth, and I can confidently say that playing rogues runs in the family.

So here I am thinking about family, who has helped me so much through these days that have been the darkest of my life.
